fastMo´s Biography

fastMo, with real Name Pierre Meyer, was born on 19.08.1979 in Brake (Germany). After a tumultuous youth and some visit in clubs and discotheques he went to ruin in the middle of 1997 of the electronic music or better said, to that are able to of the Dj's. After short considerations was certain, also he wants to impress the people with his music and his Mixing. For initial taste looks was clear that it Techno must be. Not any Techno separate something melodic, however, hard, sometimes bewildering, however, clearly, he came to his darling label, "TRESOR" which stamped his today's style from Wonky-, Hard, Chicago, Ghettotech, Minimaltechno and normal Techno.

 

After substantially records were bought and the equipment were procured, the practise went off. Inspirations were caught up by Christian Vogel, Surgeon, Pacou and later also Marco Remus, Dj Mahatma , Dj Bam Bam, Dj Deeon, Dj Funk, Mark Hawkins and Thorsten Kanzler. He tormented the first months friends and confessed with his mixes, up to the first good set. This was also recognised and thus the first Resident job was sure. Besides, he got by his friends the nickname "Mo" missed from which to itself in " fastMo " runs of the next months developed. Guilt for it was probably his quick Mixing then a crossing hunted the next and thus 35-40 tracks at the hour were no rarity.

 

Then from the in 1998 to the in '99 fastMo was known On the regional level by his diverse and hard sets in the metropolis of Jabben (Resident from '98 - in 2001) as well as the WERK2, to the former Area51 was to be inspired among other things, however, only On the regional level the people, nevertheless, not everything, so he took part in numerous contests, applied at clubs and discos. What hunted Him also every now and then sometimes straight through Germany. In 2001 profit on the Nature One could hang up fastMo by a contest, in 2001 in the Love play parade weekend in the Hof23, in 2003 in the Fusion club Münster, in 2003 in Schwerin on the Sinus Digitally festival and in 2004/2005 in the Tresor Berlin, in 2006 in the plan B in Passau, within the scope of a DJ contests and in between numerous Bookings in and around the region.

 

Since 2001 fastMo produces his own tracks which appear every now and then from CD in his sets. To a release it came with Him first in February, 2007. The label Soundthology Records know his abilities and pressed his first track on vinyl. Also he does his own Events/Parties like his monthly Techno parties in his Hometown Oldenburg. And there is every year again his "DA DIRTY GROOVES" parties in different cities and Locations with better and better and more known Acts like Thomas. P. Heckmann, Patrick Lindsey , Dj Emerson, Klaudia Gawlas or Copy+Paste.
